This publication showcases the life of Freeman and really gets into the journeys that he went on throughout his life. It gives the reader an understanding of his life and what he did day to day.

I was able to look over each stage of Freeman’s life thanks to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. I got to learn about his personal life and what truly drove him.

This helped me understand the work that Freeman was able to do as a missionary for the Methodist church. Because of this, I understand how people truly felt about him and why they admired what he did.
